Fast forward 5 years into the future: all of the glee kids have moved on with their lives and have started living their dreams.Things seem to be looking up for all of them, until they come back in town for a Glee club visit. Just then, a virus is released, slowly causing a worldwide plague that is producing aggressive, flesh-eating zombies. The CDC had no other explanation than a "terrorist attack that will wreck havoc on humanity." The government was overrun, leaving the country to fend for themselves. Zombies have overrun many major cities, along with many towns close by. There is no sign of hope, other than the fact that no one wants to be eaten alive.
The group of gleeks plus the adults are forced to take over WMHS, and hide out until the apocalypse comes to an end; if it ever does. Not only will the outside forces cause stress on this group, but being holed up in McKinley will as well.
